Originating in India, spiced teas are made with aromatic ingredients such as cinnamon, cardamom, clove, ginger and pepper.
Spiced teas are often called “Chai Teas” (which rhymes with “bye”). Chai actually means tea in Hindi, and is derived from the word “cha” which means tea in many eastern languages. Traditional Chai is often served like a latte, simmered in water, milk and sugar.
