Glass Mug (16 oz)
With stainless steel infuser
With stainless steel infuser
Glass is one of our favorite ways to brew tea! This special, high-quality, heat-resistant glass allows you to appreciate the variety of colors unique to different tea types. The infuser basket allows plenty of room for the leaves to expand and fully infuse their flavors into the brew. The removable lid functions as a base for the infuser until your next steeping. Glass imparts no unwanted tastes into your tea and is dishwasher safe.
Easy to use and clean, this tea mug is ideal for one person. Simply add a tablespoon of tealeaves to the pot (adjust depending on desired strength), add freshly boiled water, steep for the suggested time (generally 2-4 minutes), and then remove filter. The infuser basket can rest on the lid until the next steeping. Tea is ready to drink right out of your elegant mug.
This teapot includes a sturdy, high-quality, stainless steel infuser basket. The infuser neatly strains tealeaves as you pour and keeps tea ready for future steepings. Made from a solid sheet of metal (instead of flexible wire mesh) this is one of the best quality infusers on the market.
Holds approximately 16 ounces (2 cups).

Lid doesn't fit on pot without tea strainerI like having a glass teapot, it is nice to be able to see the color of the tea. Unfortunately though, I don't like how the lid doesn't fit onto the teapot without the tea strainer, which makes it so you have to leave it uncovered if you don't want to over-brew your tea (I like to pour my tea into small cups)

I'm an Authentic Tea Drinker Now!I only started drinking tea about 3 months ago. I had purchased a cheap tweezer-type tea strainer which broke last week. I had already scouted out this mug and infuser so I purchased it. I feel like I have graduated to being a real tea drinker. The infuser is solid and easy-to-clean--as promised. There is plenty of room for the leaves to expand which wasn't true of the cheap one. I am much less frustrated when trying to remove the tea leaves. Also, the infuser fits my other mugs as well. One hint is to insert the infuser slowly, at least the beginning. I almost spilled the hot water out the first time. Now I don't have to do that.
The glass mug is perfect. As I learn about all the different teas, it love being able to see the different shades of tea. I use about 12 oz. of water which is perfect for me. There is more room if you like more.
I am having so much fun with tea that it almost seems like a hobby. -
Excellent way to drink tea; beautiful and practicalThis teapot is extremely elegant, showcases the beauty of the tea color. A little bottle brush is helpful for cleaning the spout and the glass is excellent for having the pure flavor of each individual tea shines through. No dripping when pouring either. Highly recommended!
