Quick Brewing Guide
Water Temperature: 200°F
Leaf to Water Ratio: 2 tablespoons per 16 oz
Steep Time: 4-5 minutes
Brewing Instructions
General Guide:
- Add tea leaves to a teapot, fill-your-own tea bag or infuser basket.
- Use 1 to 3 teaspoons (1 tablespoon) of leaves per cup (8 oz) of water. Adjust to taste.
- Bring fresh, cold water to a rolling boil, allow it to cool slightly, then pour water over tea leaves and cover.
- Infuse (steep) leaves between 2-5 minutes; 3½ minutes is a good average that works well for most tea types. Do not over steep or tea may become bitter. If you prefer strong tea, do not over steep; simply use more leaves.
- Remove bag or infuser from water or strain leaves. Enjoy!
Water Quality: Tea is only as good as the water used to prepare it. Avoid distilled or unfiltered tap water, which can limit tea’s flavor. Bottled spring water or filtered tap water is ideal.
Water Temperature: Most teas taste best when prepared with water around 195˚F (just below boiling) however, some teas require a lower temperature or they may become bitter.

Simply chamomileI was searching for a neutral caffeine-free tea to sip throughout the day. This one is pleasantly tasty, even without sweetening. The flower buds do get stuck in my infuser but I think that would be the case with any chamomile tea.

Restful mmmmThe product is fresh, with clear instructions on how to use it. A very calming cup of tea; just the thing that you need at the end of the day. I also drank it to alleviate stress during exam times - it worked wonderfully well.
The packaging is also good; the tin lid seals each time, keeping the tea fresh. I shall definitely re-order this product when I'm close to finishing the lot that I have at the moment.

Weak.I love chamomile tea but this was just too weak. I'd use the appropriate amount and I still could barely taste it. I personally won't be ordering this again but if you like your tea extremely weak then this might be for you.

Definitely calms meThis loose leaf and caffeine free tea has not disappointed me, unlike the half dozen different chamomile tea bag products I have tried. I received the order quickly and in perfect condition. I have already reordered for myself. I recommend it to my friends and have it on my gift list for friends and family. The silver cannister is plastic, but inside, the tea is well sealed in a sturdy removable pouch so the tea hasn't touched the plastic container.

For the friend with everythingThis was the perfect gift for my friend who is health conscious and has everything. She remarked on two separate occasions about how much she enjoyed the tea. I purcased a teapot as well and the two, together make a special gift as this is not the type of tea that folks generally purchase for themselves. This flavor is particularly enjoyabke and receives rave reviews. The teapot and this tea, together, were real winners and I will buy these again for gifts or, in a moment of abandon, might actually buy for myself.

I drink this occasionally before bed when I don't have enough time to do all my wind-down routines, and I have found it very relaxing. The flavor is consistently good, and I appreciate that it is produced without exposure to pesticides. I like the packaging, but the lid does not necessarily keep the product airtight. The tea is packaged in a sleeve that protects it from air and moisture, but it may be best to transfer to a container with a tighter lid. Once the container arrived with a dent, but that may have been due to rough handling during delivery. I am glad that I did not order that time with the intent to give it as a gift. The other times I have ordered, the container has been fine, and the product inside has been consistently good. This tea contains small buds as well as leaves; it is useful to have a good straining method when preparing this loose tea.

We found that one measure of the tea can brew two or three cups with no noticeable weakness of the tea. so you can brew a cup at a time and not have it get cold by brewing a pot and letting it set.
A nice addition is that you can get it on subscribe and save, making sure you don't run out! -
