(Contains milk & soy)Rooibos, the base herb used in this blend, originates in the Western Cape region of South Africa.
Water Temperature: 195°F
Leaf to Water Ratio: 1 heaping tablespoon per 16 oz
Steep Time: 4-5 minutes
General Guide:
- Add tea leaves to a teapot, fill-your-own tea bag or infuser basket.
- Use 1 to 3 teaspoons (1 tablespoon) of leaves per cup (8 oz) of water. Adjust to taste.
- Bring fresh, cold water to a rolling boil, allow it to cool slightly, then pour water over tea leaves and cover.
- Infuse (steep) leaves between 2-5 minutes; 3½ minutes is a good average that works well for most tea types. Do not over steep or tea may become bitter. If you prefer strong tea, do not over steep; simply use more leaves.
- Remove bag or infuser from water or strain leaves. Enjoy!
Water Quality: Tea is only as good as the water used to prepare it. Avoid distilled or unfiltered tap water, which can limit tea’s flavor. Bottled spring water or filtered tap water is ideal.
Water Temperature: Most teas taste best when prepared with water around 195˚F (just below boiling) however, some teas require a lower temperature or they may become bitter.

My new faveOh my goodness, what a wonderful blend of joy and comfort in this tea blend. It has everything I love in tea - high notes, low notes, and a wonderful roundness overall. I add one teaspoon of honey, and it's ahhhh, my new favorite tea. An added bonus is I can drink it in the evenings because it has no caffeine. In fact, I often drink it all day long. Thanks, Octavia Tea!

Delicious!I tried this tea from a handful of samples I received and I've got to say it is just so delicious!
Highly recommended! -
DeliciousA new favorite. Rooibos tea with marvelous ginger and other spices.

If You Like Cloves and Cinnamon3 stars only because I do not like any of the flavors but it came in the set. I cannot taste any gingerbread which is a good thing since I hate gingerbread. This tasted very similar to the cinnamon spice one. If you like the cinnamon spice and other holiday flavors you will really like this.
If you are a good cook, can figure out how to grind this and the cinnamon spice one together you could make some rocking pies, cakes, muffins. and cookies. The flavor would beat any premix you could buy like the spice mix for pumpkin pie. I am going to try it even though I am not a great cook but could really help the gluten free muffins I make from scratch.
