Description
Reminiscent of a chocolate mint dessert, this soothing, aromatic tea combines rooibos with a touch of warm vanilla, creamy chocolate notes, and fragrant peppermint leaves. Naturally caffeine-free and loaded with antioxidants and anti-aging properties, rooibos is said to relieve stress and anxiety. With less than two calories per cup, this guilt-free indulgence is an excellent alternative to dessert and a delicious way to relax and unwind.

- Cacao beans
- Dried yogurt
- Organic peppermint
- Chocolate
- Natural vanilla flavor
This tea is made from 100% natural ingredients.
Origin
Rooibos, the base herb used in this blend, originates in the Western Cape region of South Africa.
Quick Brewing Guide
Water Temperature: 195°F
Leaf to Water Ratio: 1 heaping tablespoon per 16 oz
Steep Time: 4-5 minutes
Brewing Instructions
General Guide:
- Add tea leaves to a teapot, fill-your-own tea bag or infuser basket.
- Use 1 to 3 teaspoons (1 tablespoon) of leaves per cup (8 oz) of water. Adjust to taste.
- Bring fresh, cold water to a rolling boil, allow it to cool slightly, then pour water over tea leaves and cover.
- Infuse (steep) leaves between 2-5 minutes; 3½ minutes is a good average that works well for most tea types. Do not over steep or tea may become bitter. If you prefer strong tea, do not over steep; simply use more leaves.
- Remove bag or infuser from water or strain leaves. Enjoy!
Water Quality: Tea is only as good as the water used to prepare it. Avoid distilled or unfiltered tap water, which can limit tea’s flavor. Bottled spring water or filtered tap water is ideal.
Water Temperature: Most teas taste best when prepared with water around 195˚F (just below boiling) however, some teas require a lower temperature or they may become bitter.

Very Pleasant minty teaThis is my first purchase of Octavia Tea (Chocolate Mint). I love rooibos teas.
I would give it a 5 star, but I didn't taste the chocolate very well. It has a wonderful mint flavor and I would purchase it again. But, I would purchase it as a mint tea vs a mint, chocolate tea. -
Wonderful treatThis tea is like sipping a mint flavored chocolate candy, without the calories, sugar, carbs, etc. I love this tea. It's smooth and exhilarating at the same time. If you like mint chocolate you should try this tea.

not what I expected- BETTER! :)this is a tasty tea - it SMELLS like chocolate, but doesn't really TASTE too much like chocolate - but, since tea-drinking usually requires wrapping yourself in the 'experience', the cocoa perception is alive & well in my head! :) it really is GOOD, but not what i was expecting...so, maybe it's actually BETTER?!?!?!

Great TeaI brought this along with a teapot as a gift, but I also had the pleasure of trying some. This is a very good tea with the right amount of chocolate and mint to give it that kind of York peppermint pattie taste. The longer you let it seep, the stronger it gets. I definitely recommend this product

A delicious, wintry cupAs soon as I took a whiff of the dry tea leaves in the tin, I fell in love. The chocolate and fruit were the first scents I picked up, followed by the mint, merely a suggestion of a fragrance, not overpowering at all.It brewed to a wonderful red color and the taste was lovely as well. I'm looking forward to winter now!

A Beautiful AlternativeUpon opening the freshly sealed pouch I was enveloped by the scent of what could easily be mistaken for an Andes Mint and was captivated by the warm minty chocolate taste of the first sip. The perfect alternative to soda and other sugary drinks!

Not GoodThis tea just... tastes bad. I just end up with a bitter vaguely minty cup of tea that no amount of sugar will improve. Maybe the actual chunks of apple are to problem, maybe just apple flavoring or something would be better. Maybe everyone else is having a different experience than I am, but I don't recommend it.

Octavia's favourite in AustraliaMy daughter, Octavia, is quite upset that she has run out of Chocolate Mint Tea so i now have to order in bulk! At 12 y.o. she loves trying new tea's however this is her absolute favourite. My favorite!Chocolate Mint (Winter Mint) has always been my favorite Octavia tea because I need caffeine free tea and love the sweet taste. Honey works best if you need it sweeter. I would guess that the second reviewer may have left it seeping too long. Any tea can taste bitter if it is way too strong. I hope the reviewer will try it again with just 2 minutes of seeping and a touch of honey.
