Truly exceptional! Hand-rolled into large pearls that bloom in your cup, Golden Dragon Pearl is composed of gorgeous, golden leaf-tips, which yield more flavor and aroma than standard leaves. A bouquet of dry woods and peppery spice give way to the rich, luscious, lingering flavors of chocolate, ripe fig, honey and molasses. This exquisite, meticulously crafted tea is an absolute must for black tea lovers. Rich in antioxidants and anti-aging properties. Use 3-6 pearls per 8 ounces water; adjust to taste.

Water Temperature: 195°F
Leaf to Water Ratio: 10 pearls per 16 oz
Steep Time: 3-4 minutes
Brewing Instructions
General Guide:
- Add tea leaves to a teapot, fill-your-own tea bag or infuser basket.
- Use 1 to 3 teaspoons (1 tablespoon) of leaves per cup (8 oz) of water. Adjust to taste.
- Bring fresh, cold water to a rolling boil, allow it to cool slightly, then pour water over tea leaves and cover.
- Infuse (steep) leaves between 2-5 minutes; 3½ minutes is a good average that works well for most tea types. Do not over steep or tea may become bitter. If you prefer strong tea, do not over steep; simply use more leaves.
- Remove bag or infuser from water or strain leaves. Enjoy!
Water Quality: Tea is only as good as the water used to prepare it. Avoid distilled or unfiltered tap water, which can limit tea’s flavor. Bottled spring water or filtered tap water is ideal.
Water Temperature: Most teas taste best when prepared with water around 195˚F (just below boiling) however, some teas require a lower temperature or they may become bitter.

A great, smooth-flavored blackI've tried many teas, especially from Octavia and I'm a fan of whites, greens and blacks. The Golden Dragon Pearl is by far my favorite black and worth the extra cost. You really only need about 3 - 4 pearls per 8oz cup, and it can stand up to hot water and long steeps.

Very smooth, reuse the leaves!The experience with these is quite positive. I use 2 pearls per cup anymore, and the tea is very smooth. My main suggestion is to go ahead and give these another seep or two. The tea is very high quality, and I would say that the second steep is better than the first. Not sure if entirely worth the extra price just to have the tea rolled into pearls, but the tea is good, and will last.

Great FlavorI'm not a big fan of black tea, I prefer green and White. Tried a sample pack of this tea and I was very impressed, it has a natural smooth sweet taste. will order it in bulk in the future.
