Description
Made with dried petals from the tropical, trumpet-shaped flower, hibiscus tea provides a rich, ruby-red infusion with a tangy, tropical-fruit flavor similar to pomegranate and citrus. A sweet burst of peach gives this blend a flavorful, almost juice-like quality. Hibiscus is rich in flavonoids, antioxidants, and vitamin C while rooibos is revered for its soothing, stress-relieving and anti-aging properties. Excellent hot or over ice.

- Natural peach flavor
- Organic essential oil of orange
- Essential oil of tangerine
This tea is USDA Certified Organic.
Origin
Rooibos, the base herb used in this blend, originates in the Western Cape region of South Africa.
Quick Brewing Guide
Water Temperature: 195°F
Leaf to Water Ratio: 1 heaping tablespoon per 16 oz
Steep Time: 4-5 minutes
Brewing Instructions
General Guide:
- Add tea leaves to a teapot, fill-your-own tea bag or infuser basket.
- Use 1 to 3 teaspoons (1 tablespoon) of leaves per cup (8 oz) of water. Adjust to taste.
- Bring fresh, cold water to a rolling boil, allow it to cool slightly, then pour water over tea leaves and cover.
- Infuse (steep) leaves between 2-5 minutes; 3½ minutes is a good average that works well for most tea types. Do not over steep or tea may become bitter. If you prefer strong tea, do not over steep; simply use more leaves.
- Remove bag or infuser from water or strain leaves. Enjoy!
Water Quality: Tea is only as good as the water used to prepare it. Avoid distilled or unfiltered tap water, which can limit tea’s flavor. Bottled spring water or filtered tap water is ideal.
Water Temperature: Most teas taste best when prepared with water around 195˚F (just below boiling) however, some teas require a lower temperature or they may become bitter.
Iced Tea: To make fresh iced tea, use twice as much tea to account for dilution by ice. Hot Brew: follow directions above, allow tea to cool, and add ice. Cold Brew: pour fresh, cold water over tea leaves, cover, and refrigerate 8 hours.

Delicious!I bought this to make iced tea and I think it is delicious and a little goes a long way. It might be a little tart for some people but I don't add sugar. I also don't really care for Rooibos, but I know that it is good for you. You don't get a strong Rooibos flavor with this tea and it smells wonderful. The tea is bright red and I find it very refreshing - I plan to order more.

Great flavor!Delicious! I combined this tea along with a bunch of organic hibiscus. It made an excellent bevrahe perfect for a sangria base or sparkling tea.

Beautiful robust aroma and flavor!We got turned on to this tea at a local tea shop and I just had to go and buy some for home! This is now my favorite non-caffeinated tea. It smells heavenly and is far more robust than the typical tea purchased at the grocery store, even some of the nicer, more expensive brands. This is a loose leaf tea so you'll need a ball or refillable bags but I highly recommend it.

Peachy!Just the aroma from the packaging after opening it was amazing. Put in a cup and it'll always go down smooth. Not a subtle cup of tea though as the Peach flavor explodes onto your tongue. Was that contradicting? it's hard to explain, other than delicious.

Yummy!Almost like punch! Nice and sweet and citrusy. doesn't have a strong rooibos taste, which is good since the rooibos actually accentuates the Peach/Orange flavor nicely.

My only complaint is that the tea in the tin that I purchased from a tea shop is very fine (gives the impression that it was at the bottom of the barrel) and passed right through my steeping basket, leaving tiny bits floating on top of my cup of tea. This does not happen with my other loose teas. Disappointing considering the price.
