Matcha Scoop

This traditional bamboo scoop, known as “chashaku,” is used to measure and transfer powdered matcha into a teacup/bowl during the Japanese tea ceremony. Hand carved out of bamboo, this beautiful scoop offers a connection to nature and enhances your matcha experience. One scoop is approximately 1 gram, so we recommend using 2 scoops (approximately 2 grams or 1 teaspoon) per serving.

ABOUT MATCHA: Matcha is a stone-ground, super-green tea loaded with potential health benefits and used in the Japanese Tea Ceremony. It is prepared in concentrated, small quantities, almost like a “tea espresso.” Matcha is famous for its fresh, green, umami flavor and uplifting energy. Allowing water to cool several minutes after boiling will produce the smoothest flavor.
