Quickly and easily sift matcha for the perfect cup! Sifting is very important when preparing matcha. Sifted matcha will whisk into a soft, frothy consistency, while unsifted matcha will taste thin and grainy. This ultra-fine, stainless steel mesh gently and easily sift any clumps out of your matcha powder. Although clumping itself is normal and cannot be prevented, the clumps can be quickly converted into a fine, beautiful powder using this tool.
ABOUT MATCHA: Matcha is a stone-ground, super-green tea loaded with potential health benefits and used in the Japanese Tea Ceremony. It is prepared in concentrated, small quantities, almost like a “tea espresso.” Matcha is famous for its fresh, green, umami flavor and uplifting energy. Allowing water to cool several minutes after boiling will produce the smoothest flavor.
