Description
All of the warmth of a simmering pot of mulled wine finds its way into this herbal blend, possessing the essence of a full-bodied red. A blend of orchard fruit and warming spice rounds it out like a spiced fruit compote steeped straight into your mug. A touch of mistletoe finishes it with old-world charm. Warm, syrupy, and richly spiced, it sips like a dessert wine reduction - the kind of indulgent little treat that turns a quiet moment into something worth savoring.

Quick Brewing Guide
Water Temperature: 195°F
Leaf to Water Ratio: 1 heaping tablespoon per 16 oz
Steep Time: 4-5 minutes
Brewing Instructions
General Guide:
- Add tea leaves to a teapot, fill-your-own tea bag or infuser basket.
- Use 1 to 3 teaspoons (1 tablespoon) of leaves per cup (8 oz) of water. Adjust to taste.
- Bring fresh, cold water to a rolling boil, allow it to cool slightly, then pour water over tea leaves and cover.
- Infuse (steep) leaves between 2-5 minutes; 3½ minutes is a good average that works well for most tea types. Do not over steep or tea may become bitter. If you prefer strong tea, do not over steep; simply use more leaves.
- Remove bag or infuser from water or strain leaves. Enjoy!
Water Quality: Tea is only as good as the water used to prepare it. Avoid distilled or unfiltered tap water, which can limit tea’s flavor. Bottled spring water or filtered tap water is ideal.
Water Temperature: Most teas taste best when prepared with water around 195˚F (just below boiling) however, some teas require a lower temperature or they may become bitter.
Iced Tea: To make fresh iced tea, use twice as much tea to account for dilution by ice. Hot Brew: follow directions above, allow tea to cool, and add ice. Cold Brew: pour fresh, cold water over tea leaves, cover, and refrigerate 8 hours.

Good on its own or great mixerThis is a very fruity tea. It leans more towards dark & red berries. It is good on it's own or great mixed with green or black tea.

Just like wine…sans the alcohol! Kidding, but…...this is another great Octavia tea. If you are looking for a fruity/berry herbal tea without caffeine, this one is excellent. Rich and deep berry flavor when you are looking for a change from green or white teas. Excellent!

Better than I expected for a highly hibiscus blendI was a little worried about this one. It's a caffeine-free combination of some ingredients that I thought would be very sour: rosehips, hibiscus, schizandra berries, and strawberry and blueberry flavor. My past experience with schizandra berries has been unbearably sour. But upon steeping, I had nothing to fear. The flavor isn't very sour at all and is actually quite delicious. The perfect level of tart, fruity, with surprising amount of blueberry flavor. The second steep is a light pink brew and much of the same flavor: lighter than the first steep but delicious. This one would be amazing as an iced tea. It's very refreshing even while it's hot. A tasty hibiscus blend, when hibiscus usually isn't my thing at all.
